Microsoft Teams create a channel

Use the Microsoft Teams create a channel action to create a new channel on a team you specify.

In Microsoft Teams, a channel is a category-based collaboration space inside a team created for a specific purpose. It is a dedicated section within a team to keep conversations organized by specific topics. For example, in a team called Marketing Team, you can create channels such as Brochure Designs, Key Clienteles, and Roadmaps.

Note: This is an external action and may execute on servers running outside your data center region. Before implementing, consider performance and regional concerns where digital boundaries are an issue. For more information, see In-tenant and external actions.
