GUI Input Field Requirements

When using the Nintex System Manager setup wizard, it's important to enter information carefully, following the rules. This means watching how many letters or numbers you use, putting files in the right places, using the right symbols, and using correct information. To know what each field needs, look at the table below. This helps you avoid mistakes during installation.

Setup Setup details Application server FQDN

  • The total FQDN may not exceed 255 characters.

  • Input must:

    • Start with a letter or a number.

    • Consist of 1 to 63 characters.

    • Only contain alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) and hyphens (-).
Destination folder

  • The path must end in a folder (not a file).

  • Only legal Windows paths are allowed. Windows paths should follow the format: C:\folder\subfolder.
Configuration Secured Connection PFX file

Only the selection of PFX (.pfx) files is allowed.
CRT file

Only the selection of CRT (.crt) files is allowed.
PEM file

Only the selection of PEM (.pem) files is allowed.
Ports NGINX port Input can only contain numbers.
Third parties Seq SEQ server FQDN

  • The total FQDN may not exceed 255 characters.

  • Input must:

    • Start with a letter or a number.

    • Consist of 1 to 63 characters.

    • Only contain alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) and hyphens (-).
SEQ server port Input can only contain numbers.
RabbitMQ Admin password

Input must:

  • Be 9 - 32 characters long.

  • Have a minimum of 1 digit, 1 lowercase character, and 1 uppercase character.

  • Consist solely of alphanumeric characters, dashes, periods, and underscores.

  • Be different than the username.
