Phase 3: First Business Unit Discovery

Roles: Nintex Professional Services Expert, Customer Business Analyst, Customer Business User

Once you have defined the target processes and applications, as described in Planning Your First Discovery, you can run the discovery. The flow of each discovery is as follows:

• Discover: Run the Discovery Robots to record all user actions in the included applications for a specified timeframe.

• Analyze: Review the data collected by the Discovery Server from the Discovery Robots to identify processes.

• Design: Tune the algorithms and train the Discovery Robots.

• Optimize: Optimize the Process Discovery results based on feedback, and provide automation recommendations.

At the end of these two weeks, you Discovery team will have experienced the full flow from planning the discovery, analyzing the results, and providing automation recommendations. They will be enabled to independently continue with the discovery journey to the next teams.
