Office 365 create user

Note: 

Creates a new user in Office 365.

Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
Connection
  • Permissions required: to create users.
  • Connection type required: SharePoint Online: User management. For more information about Connection types, see Connection types and Connector actions.
Administrator username / Password

(Displayed for legacy actions not yet updated.) Unmanaged credentials.

  • Permissions required: to create users.

Note: As a best practice, manage credentials by updating actions to use connections.

Username and domain

The username and domain for the new user.

Display name

Display name for the new user.

User location

Location for the new user.

First name

First name for the new user.

Last name

Last name for the new user.

Force password change

When enabled, requires a password change when the user first signs in.

Password never expires

When disabled, enforces periodic password expirations for the new user.

Alternate email address

Alternate email address for the new user.

Job title

Job title for the new user.

Department

Department for the new user.

Office number

Office number for the new user.

Office phone

Office phone number for the new user.

Mobile phone

Mobile phone number for the new user.

Fax number

Fax number for the new user.

Street address

Street address for the new user.

City

City for the new user.

State or province

State or province for the new user.

ZIP or postal code

ZIP or postal code for the new user.

Country or region

Country or region for the new user.

Preferred language

Preferred language for the new user.

User creation successful

Boolean variable to store operation result. Returns "No" if the user was not created.

Password

Variable to store the provided password or a password generated by Office 365 for the new user.
