join

Use the join function to combine the items of a collection into a single Text value, separated by the specified separator.

Function format

join(Input Collection, Separator)

• Input Collection: The collection whose items are combined.

• Separator (Optional): The Text value placed between each item. Defaults to a comma (,).

join example

In an Expenses Repeating section, use join to combine every row's category into one summary line of Text, for use in an email notification or a submitted-form summary.

join(["Travel", "Meals", "Supplies"], ", ")

The formula returns the String value Travel, Meals, Supplies, a summary of the Expenses categories submitted.
