distinct
Use the distinct function to return a collection with duplicate values removed. The first occurrence of each value is kept in its original position. Text values are compared without regard to case, and the case of the first occurrence is kept in the result.
Note: For collections of non-text/non-number values (for example, an unflattened File upload or People picker column), items are only treated as duplicates if they are the exact same value, not just visually similar.
Function format
distinct(Input Collection)
-
Input Collection: The collection from which duplicate values are removed.
distinct example
In an Expenses Repeating section with several rows per category, use distinct to return each category only once.
distinct(["Travel", "Meals", "Travel", "Supplies", "Meals"])
The formula returns the collection ["Travel", "Meals", "Supplies"], the unique categories used on the Expenses form.
