Web Services on-premises

Create a Web Services on-premises connection

Note: Your browser-stored credentials are accessed to create connections. Either clear credentials from browser memory or make sure the stored credentials are for the intended environment.

Create a connection from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

Web Services on-premises account requirements

  • The account you use to create a connection for Web Services on-premises is the account that has access to the Web Services on-premises actions.
  • If the Integrated authentication box is checked for the Web Services on-premises - Call a web service on-premises action, then Active Directory credentials are used.
  • You need the Domain\Username and Password of the Microsoft Windows user.

  • You must install and configure Nintex Gateway on the Active Directory domain on which your web services are installed. The Nintex Gateway configuration is used to connect to the Microsoft Windows Server.
