K2 SmartObject
Nintex K2 Cloud is a powerful low-code process automation platform. K2 SmartObject is a data integration service developed by K2. SmartObjects are business entities that represent data from applications and line of business (LOB) systems. They are a middle layer between data providers, such as SQL and SharePoint, and data consumers such as forms, workflows, reports, and code. You can use the K2 SmartObject action to execute a SmartObject method to query and update information in a LOB system.

Create a K2 SmartObject connection
Create a connection from the connections page or from the action configuration panel when configuring the action. For information about creating connections and assigning permissions, see Manage connections.

K2 SmartObject account requirements
- This connector uses the K2 SmartObject API with Basic authentication.
- The user credentials used to create the K2 SmartObject connection determines the permissions that the user has to the K2 SmartObject action.
