ServiceNow - Retrieve a record

The ServiceNow - Retrieve a record action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. retrieves attributes you specify from the a record in ServiceNow. For more information about the ServiceNow connector, go to ServiceNow.

Configure the ServiceNow - Retrieve a record action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add, rename, and copy actions.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.

  3. Select the Table Name type to retrieve records from.
  4. Type the Record System Id to retrieve records from.
  5. Click Add fields to add inputs you want to retrieve from the record. After you click Add fields:
    1. Select additional inputs from Fields.
    2. Click Add.
    3. The new input fields appear in the configuration panel.

The type of table record to retrieve.

The Id of the record to retrieve.

Add field

Click Add field to view the additional inputs you can retrieve from the table record. The input options available to add as fields are derived from the selected Table Name.

Select inputs and then click Add to create the additional fields in the configuration panel.
