Use the following image to identify the ribbon.
The Redo, Undo, and Save buttons are located on the right side of the ribbon, just beneath your name.
- As you build a workflow, the Workflow Designer automatically saves your workflow in the background. When the Workflow Designer saves your work, the Save button animates until your workflow is saved. You can also click on the Save button to save changes. Remember that your workflow is not available for use until you save a draft or deploy it.
- If a workflow closes unexpectedly, the workflow remains locked and reverts to the last saved version. You can unlock the workflow by actioning the pop-up that shows when you open the workflow again, or the owner of the workflow can unlock it by selecting Unlock from the workflow menu in the category tree of the Designer. When unlocking the workflow, it retrieves the last saved version of the workflow.
The designer keeps track of every step or action you perform. You can click on the Undo button to remove the last step you added or action you performed. To reapply what was undone, click the Redo button.
- From the Workflow Designer ribbon select the File tab.
- The File tab contains three sections - Info, Options, and Close.
- The Info menu is selected by default.
- Minor version - This is the version created when you save the workflow as a draft.

- On the Options section you can enable or disable tips and configure mouse behavior for the canvas.

Save Draft | Allows you to save a draft (minor) version of the workflow. You can use this for testing purposes while designing your workflow. It is good practice to add a comment to the draft version to see what has changed or for the next person working on the workflow. See Workflow versioning for more information. |
Versions | Lists all versions of the workflow in descending date order. There are two types of workflow design time versions: See Workflow versioning for more information. |
Delete | Deletes all design time versions including minor and major versions of the workflow. When deleting a major design time version from here, the runtime part of the version is not deleted and can still be accessed in Management. |
