Nintex K2 for SharePoint: Hello World (Extended Version) Tutorial

  • This content uses the legacy Nintex K2 for SharePoint app. For more information about using the Nintex Automation for SharePoint app, see Add the app.

In this tutorial, you learn how to work with SmartForms and how to add more functionality to a workflow. You replace the standard SharePoint forms with SmartForms, then customize the layout of the form. You extend the workflow by adding an additional recipient to the Respond to Greeting task. You configure outcome rules so that both recipients must respond to the greeting or the workflow follows the Ignore outcome. Finally, you add a reminder to the task step that sends an email to the recipients if they have not responded to the task in the time allotted.

This tutorial extends the Nintex K2 for SharePoint: Hello World (Basic Version) Tutorial application. You must complete the basic version tutorial before beginning this extended version tutorial.

If you want to learn a little more about the application you are about to build and how it will behave, review the design of the application in the topic Nintex K2 for SharePoint: Hello World (Extended Version) - Application Design

For this scenario we use sample users. You can create your own test users to work with.
