Microsoft Active Directory
The product supports integration with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), allowing AD users to login to web sites and be used as destination users in workflow client events by configuring AD as a User Manager in Nintex Automation (Microsoft Active Directory is the default and most common User Manager in Nintex Automation). Additionally, the product provides Service Brokers to expose AD operations as SmartObjects (which can be consumed by SmartForms, workflows, reports and other SmartObject consumers), and Workflow Wizards which allow workflows to interact with AD, such as creating new users and managing user group membership as part of a workflow.
To prepare to integrate the product with Active Directory, please refer to the Active Directory topic within the Integration Preparation section.
There are no specific installation steps required to install this Service Broker, it is included and available by default in a Nintex Automation environment.
