Update UDAs in published workflows
This topic describes how to update all instances of a selected User Defined Action (UDA) in published workflows.
Published workflows that use User Defined Actions (UDAs) must be republished whenever the UDAs are updated. Until the published workflow is republished, it will continue to reflect the last published version of the UDA when it was used and published in the workflow.
To update all instances of a User Defined Action (UDA) in published workflows
- Open the User Defined Action (UDA) in the Nintex Workflow designer and then click Publish.
-
In the Set Title & Description dialog box, select the check box for Show option to republish workflows using this User Defined Action (UDA) and then click Submit to save changes and close the dialog box.
The Analyze User Defined Action (UDA) tab appears (dialog box titled "Workflow using"), listing all published workflows that use the UDA with the following details: Workflow name, workflow version, workflow published date, UDA version, and republish status.
-
Click Republish All Workflows.
The list is refreshed (dialog box titled "Republish results") and the Republish Status column is updated for each workflow. Workflows with major versions are republished; workflows with minor versions are not republished (status is updated to indicate that minor version exists).
- To manually republish a workflow in the list, click the name of the workflow to open it in the Nintex Workflow designer (in a new tab) and then click Publish.
- To refresh the list shown in the Analyze User Defined Action (UDA) tab, close and reopen the dialog box.
