Delete unused workflow variables
This topic describes how to delete unused workflow variables. Unused workflow variables are variables that are created but not used in the workflow.
To delete unused workflow variables

Access the Workflow variables dialog box: Click the arrow (
) for Workflow Settings in the Workflow designer ribbon and then select Variables. For full instructions on accessing the Workflow Variables dialog box, see Browse workflow variables.
The In use column indicates which variables are used in the workflow.
- To delete unused variables do one of the following:
- To delete a selected unused variable: Select the variable and then click Delete on the toolbar.
- To delete all unused variables: On the toolbar, click Delete all unused variables.
