This topic describes how to manage action settings for sites and site collections.
With appropriate administrator privileges for the site or site collection, you can disable inheritance of action settings, enable and disable actions, and edit permissions for actions. When inheritance is disabled, you can specify site- or site collection-specific action settings. Only enabled actions are visible in the Actions toolbox, and only when the current user has permissions for that action. By default, enabled actions are available to all workflow designers.
For information on farm-level configuration of action settings, see Manage workflow actions (farm level).
