This topic provides instructions for scheduling workflows to run at specified times.
You can schedule workflows for items in libraries and lists. Scheduling workflows can be useful for running recurring checks on items. You can also schedule site workflows.
To schedule a workflow (add a workflow schedule)
For an item in a library or list: Click More options (), click Advanced, and then click Schedule Workflows.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any workflows scheduled for the selected item.
For a site workflow: Click the settings icon () on the upper right, select Nintex Workflow, and then select Schedule site workflows under Nintex Workflow.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any scheduled site workflows.
Click Add Schedule on the right.
The New Workflow Schedule page appears.
Workdays only: When selected, runs the scheduled workflow on workdays only.
Note: Workdays are set by the administrator using Regional settings from the Site Settings page. Holidays can be configured using Holidays under Nintex Workflow from the Site Settings page.
Click Save to save changes.
The Workflow Schedules page is reloaded and the new workflow schedule is listed.
To edit a workflow schedule
Click More options (), click Advanced, and then click Schedule Workflows.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any workflows scheduled for the selected item.
Click the settings icon () on the upper right, select Nintex Workflow, and then select Schedule site workflows under Nintex Workflow.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any scheduled site workflows.
Under Workflow, click the name of the workflow for which you would like to delete the schedule.
The New Workflow Schedule page appears.
Update configuration as needed and then click Save to save changes.
The Workflow Schedules page is reloaded and the new workflow schedule is listed. Any currently running instances of the workflow continue without disruption; schedule updates are applied once the workflow instance is completed.
To delete a workflow schedule
Click More options (), click Advanced, and then click Schedule Workflows.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any workflows scheduled for the selected item.
Click the settings icon () on the upper right, select Nintex Workflow, and then select Schedule site workflows under Nintex Workflow.
The Workflow Schedules page appears, listing any scheduled site workflows.
Under Workflow, click the name of the workflow for which you would like to delete the schedule.
The New Workflow Schedule page appears.
Click Delete on the bottom right and confirm changes.
The Workflow Schedules page is reloaded and the new workflow schedule is no longer listed. Any currently running instances of the workflow continue without disruption; schedule updates are applied once the workflow instance is completed.
