Set up change approval for workflows

This topic describes how to enable or disable change approval for workflows on the current site.

When workflow change approvals are enabled, workflows on the site must be approved by a member of the configured approver group before they are available for use. The Nintex Workflow designer displays a notification indicating that workflow change approval is enabled for the site and a notification on publish indicating that the workflow is undergoing the approval process. If a workflow is started on an item before the latest version is approved, then the most recently approved version of the workflow is used.

To enable change approvals for workflows on the current site

  1. Click the settings icon () on the upper right and then select Site settings to display the Site Settings page.

  2. Under Nintex Workflow, click Workflow change approval.

  4. Select Enabled for Enable or disable workflow modification approval process to display the configuration fields.
