Snippets allow you to reuse predefined, pre-ordered sets of actions in workflows within a site collection. You can save workflows and action sets as snippets.
To save the current workflow as a snippet
Enter a name for the snippet and then click Submit.
The snippet is automatically added to the action group "My snippets."
To save an action set as a snippet

To add a snippet to the current workflow
In the action toolbox, under the Core tab, expand the group "My snippets" and then drag and drop the snippet onto a drop zone on the design canvas.
