Create and edit workflow variables

This topic describes how to create and edit workflow variables.

Note: Variable type cannot be modified.

To create a workflow variable

  1. Access the Workflow variables dialog box: Click the arrow () for Workflow Settings in the Workflow designer ribbon and then select Variables.

  2. Click New to display the Create Workflow Variable dialog box.
  3. Fill in the fields and then click Save.

To edit a workflow variable

  1. Access the Workflow variables dialog box: Click the arrow () for Workflow Settings in the Workflow designer ribbon and then select Variables.

  2. Select the variable and then click Modify to display the Modify Workflow Variable dialog box.
  3. Update fields and then click Save.
