This topic describes how to preview a form in the Classic and Responsive forms designers.
Preview a form to confirm control appearance and behavior for a given device and mode.
To preview a form's design
The preview appears.
To preview a form at runtime
In the Nintex Forms 2016 tab of the Forms designer, in the Form area, click Preview.
Click Preview .
The Preview Settings dialog box appears.
Select the Mode to preview the form in.
Click Generate Preview.
The preview form is displayed within the Forms designer.
No data entered in a preview form is saved.
Note: To close any notifications that may appear at the top of the preview, select "Close" in the bottom right-hand corner.

In the Nintex Forms 2016 tab of the Forms designer, in the Form area, click Preview.
The Preview Settings dialog box appears.
Select the device, platform, and mode.
For field descriptions, see the table following these steps.
Click Generate Preview.
A preview of the form is generated.
The location of the preview form depends on the selected device option.
No data entered in a preview form is saved, whether in the Forms designer or in a Nintex Mobile app.
Note: To close any notifications that may appear at the top of the preview, select "Close" in the bottom right-hand corner.

If a layout for the selected device has not yet been created for the form, then the next most appropriate alternate device layout will be used to render the form. |
