Nintex configuration for log shipping

Failure and restore in a log shipping scenario involves moving Nintex Workflow to a mirror server or to the original principal server. Restoring in a log shipping scenario requires you bring the databases online on the secondary server. For more information, see the following article: Failover and Failback in Logshipping.

Because user intervention is required to bring the database online, you cannot configure it as a failover partner. You must update the connection settings for the servers, instances, and aliases to point to the new server.

Use the following procedures to update the connection string for the Nintex Workflow configuration database and to update referenced database server names for Nintex Workflow (either content databases or configuration databases).
