Actions toolbox
The Actions toolbox is part of the Nintex Workflow designer. The Actions toolbox lists the actions that can be used in the designer canvas to create workflows. Note: Actions must be enabled before use.
The Actions toolbox contains the following tabs.
- Core: Actions provided with the product that operate within SharePoint, separated by toolbox groups such as "Commonly used" and "Libraries and lists."
- Connectors: Each connector is a collection of third-party actions, such as Salesforce. Third-party actions are one type of connector actions. The other type of connector actions are those provided with the product (Integration group).
The Core tab contains the following action groups by default.
- Commonly used
- Libraries and lists
- Logic and flow
- Operations
- Provisioning
- User Defined Actions*
- User interaction
- My snippets*
*Shown only when relevant actions have been created (User Defined Actions or snippets).
The Connectors tab contains the action group "Integration" in addition to action groups named by provider, such as Salesforce.
Note: The names of workflow actions and groups can be edited by the administrator. For more information, see Manage workflow actions (farm level).
To search for actions in the Actions toolbox

In the Search box, enter the word(s) you want to find in the actions toolbox, for example, Salesforce.
As you type, the results counter shows how many matches were found. For example, Search results (14).
- To close the search box, click X.
