Check in item

Checks in an item that was checked out with the action Check out item.

The workflow will error if checking in an item that was checked out by a different user.

Action settings

Field	Description
Check in form	The location of the item to check in. Options to check in from. Current item: Available in workflows for libraries only. Check in the item currently in the workflow. (available libraries): Vary by available libraries. The Where selector appears when selecting a library location.
Where	Available only when a library is selected. Filter criteria to identify which document to check in. Manually enter the value, or select a workflow variable to evaluate at runtime. For more information on lookups, see Use lookups and Lookups reference.
Comments	Check in comments. Stored with the item meta data. Combines straight text with references from the workflow and site at runtime. For instructions on inserting references, see Insert references. . Note: The comments are not stored in the Workflow History.
Check in type	The type of check in to be performed. Options are: Major Version Minor Version No Version Change The target document library version settings must match what is chosen in the configuration dialog.

The work load for this action is added to a job queue. The workflow executes jobs in the queue as a batch when it reaches a "commit" point.
