This topic describes Nintex Mobile app sign-in methods available by environment (tenancy/site).

On-premises SharePoint site, using Nintex for SharePoint

Corporate

Microsoft

Information needed varies by account type: 

  • Corporate: URL and credentials for the SharePoint site; a secure connection using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is required. Domain may be requested, depending on site configuration.

  • Microsoft: Microsoft account that is registered with the SharePoint site. No URL required. For more information, see the Nintex Mobile help.

    Note: Microsoft Account connections will be deprecated on October 1, 2018.

    Note: Nintex registration of Microsoft accounts must be allowed on the SharePoint farm. For more information, see the product help.

SharePoint Online site, using Nintex for Office 365 apps

Office 365

URL and credentials for the SharePoint Online site. The credentials can be one of the following account types.

  • Office 365 account
  • Organizational account (requires Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) authentication with Microsoft NT LAN manager (NTLM))
