Automatically run a wizard when Nintex Assistant starts
As a Studio designer, you may want to execute the same wizard every time your users log in to Nintex Assistant on their machine. Instead of your users doing this manually every time, you can configure Nintex Assistant to automatically run a selected wizard each time they log in to Nintex Assistant.
To automatically run a wizard when Nintex Assistant launches:
-
In Studio, go to Tools > Assistant settings.
-
In the Auto-run wizard section, select a wizard to automatically run at the Wizard field.
When the auto-run wizard option is enabled, you should be aware of the following:
-
Only published wizards are available for selection. If the selected wizard is subsequently unpublished, Nintex Assistant will continue to function without executing the wizard. In this scenario, no error will be displayed.
-
The selected wizard automatically runs every time the user logs in to Nintex Assistant.
-
After executing the selected wizard upon user logging in and subsequently being idle, Nintex Assistant can be executed by other wizards for example through a hyperlink. In this scenario, the selected wizard does not execute again.
