Sensor Catalog
Similar to the Wizard Catalog, the Sensor Catalog is a hierarchical tree made up of libraries, categories, and sensors. By default, both catalogs share an identical library structure that is created, along with Applications, in the Nintex Admin Tool Tool.
Sensors
Sensors are automations that are set up to prompt a Bubble, or trigger a wizard to be launched, within the user interface. They can be instituted while processes are executed, and they give users the ability to interact with an attended robot.
Usage examples:
-
A warning bubble can appear when opening a specific application
-
Business Logic: A bubble stating that if you don't click OK, you are unable to go to the next step in the wizard
-
Upon opening an application, a wizard begins to gather specific data
Sensor Types
In the Sensor Catalog library, you can add Categories, subcategories, and sensor automations.Categories
There are two types of sensor automations:
-
Simple Sensor: A simple bubble automation in the UI
-
Multi-step Sensor: A sensor automation that is followed by a launched wizard
