Does UI Object Exist

Check to see if an object exists in the currently active UI and place the result of the check (TRUE/FALSE) into a variable.

1. Select the UI object whose existence you want to check.

   After selecting the object, the following buttons become available (when relevant):

   • Click an object

   • Expand selection

   • Narrow selection

   • Highlight selected object

   • Use right click for selection

   • Tree view

     

2. Enter the name of the variable into which you want to save the result of the query (TRUE/FALSE).

3. Instruct the wizard how to handle any errors encountered. Read more about error handling.
