Create New Excel File

Create a new Excel file in the location and with the file name you choose.

  1. Browse to the location in which you want to create the Excel file; and

    Enter the desired file name (including one of the following file extensions: *.xls, *.xlsx).

  2. Indicate whether the new file should overwrite an existing file of the same name.

  3. Instruct the wizard how to handle any errors encountered.

You don't need Excel installed to use or run this command.
