Does HTML Object Exist

Check to see if an object in the currently active web page exists and place the result of the check (TRUE/FALSE) into a variable.

  1. Click the Select an object to select an object whose existence you would like to check.

  2. After selecting the object, the DOES HTML OBJECT EXIST dialog will appear as follows:

  3. Preview a thumbnail image of the selected object.

  4. Click to restart the selection process if you need to select a different object.

  5. Enter the name of the variable into which you'd like to place the result of the check. The result will be either TRUE or FALSE, as applicable.

    This command has a built-in timeout monitoring of 5 seconds. See Timeout Monitoring Support for Advanced Commands
