Outbox

If you action a task or form while your device is offline, the task or form moves to the Outbox and you are notified that the app cannot connect to the K2 server. You are also notified when last the Outbox was last synced. You can leave the item in the Outbox and, when you reconnect, the Outbox synchronizes with the server and the task or form completes. The Outbox is only available if you are offline and have task and form items that are pending upload to the server.

You can instead discard the task or form item. When you discard a task or form item from the Outbox while offline, the task or form item is returned to Inbox. The app automatically synchronizes as soon you are back online.

When the Outbox synchronizes but another participant has already actioned an item you actioned while offline, you are notified that the item has already been actioned and you can discard it and refresh your Inbox.

The Send to Outbox notification only displays when you submit a form with the When the Form is submitting event or the execute the Submitting Form method action is configured in the form rules, while offline.
