Actions Panel

The Actions Panel allows you to action a task with workflow actions or the standard system actions such as Share, Redirect, and Sleep. An administrator may enable or disable the Workflow Actions, Standard Actions, Share, Sleep and Redirect options using the Workspace Settings section in the K2 Management site.

The following options are available:

• Actions: Displays the actions available for the task, such as Approved or Declined, as defined in the workflow.
• More: Displays standard actions such as Redirect, Share and Sleep.
  • Redirect: Sends the task to another person for completion. The task is removed from your task list and appears in the other person's Tasks. To use this feature, search for and then select the person to whom the task is to be redirected.
  • Share: Share the task with someone else. When you share a task, that task appears in your own task list as well as in the Tasks of the person you shared it with. When the first person opens the task, it is removed from the other person's Tasks. To use this feature, search for and then select the person with whom to share the task.
  • Sleep: Pauses or suspends a task for a period of time.
