Configure the Set a Form's Properties Action

You can change the properties of a form at runtime when an event has executed for example. Find these rule actions on a view and form in the Rule Designer.

  1. Create a Form.
  2. Add a rule or edit an existing rule.
  3. Add the Set Form properties action for example. The same logic applies to the Set subform properties action.
  4. Click configure next to the action.
  5. Configure the form property to be set at runtime for example the width size.
  6. Click OK to save the configuration and Finish to save the rule.
  7. When the form opens the width size of 500px is applied. This can subsequently be changed with another rule event.
  • HTML color codes should be used in the Appearance section to change colors. Type text for the name of the color or the specific hexidecimal code if a new color is required.
