Microsoft Exchange Server
K2 can integrate with Microsoft Exchange Server in a number of different ways:

---|---|
SMTP Email | The most common use of Microsoft Exchange by K2 is to send SMTP Emails (e.g. task escalations, workflow Email events, Emails from SmartForm rules). |
Workflow Event Wizards | Event wizards are available in the K2 workflow design tools to allow workflows to perform certain operations in Exchange, for example:
|
SmartObjects |

These SmartObjects can in turn be consumed by SmartForms, workflows, reports and other SmartObject consumers. Below are some of the functions exposed by these SmartObjects:
There are no specific installation steps required to install this Service Broker, it is included and available by default in a K2 environment. |
