Microsoft Azure Active Directory

K2 supports integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD), allowing AAD users to login to K2 web sites and be used as destination users in workflow client events by configuring AAD as a User Manager in K2. Additionally, K2 provides a Service Broker to expose AAD operations as SmartObjects (which can be consumed by SmartForms, workflows, reports and other SmartObject consumers), and Workflow Wizards which allow workflows to interact with AAD, such as creating new users and managing user group membership as part of a workflow.

K2 environments that include SharePoint and the K2 for SharePoint app do not need any extra configuration. See the topic Manually Configure K2 for Azure Active Directory (AAD) for information on configuring AAD integration in a K2 environment where there is no SharePoint component.

There are no specific installation steps required to install this Service Broker, it is included and available by default in a K2 environment.
