Data Source Wizard - Define Parameters
The Define Parameters screen allows the developer to define the input values of each SmartObject property.

| Parameters | Select the SmartObject property to be configured |
| Parameter source | Select a parameter source from the drop-down list such as control |
| ControlID | If Control was selected as the parameter source then the ControlID drop-down list will appear. Select which data control from the Toolbox must be use |
| DefaultValue | Type in the input value that will be the default value |
| Select Statement | Displays the details of the SELECT statement assigned as a Stored procedure in the previous source data wizard screen |

| Show advanced properties | Displays the Properties of the selected parameter control. These properties can be configured accordingly. |
- The Define Parameters screen only appears if the Specify a custom SQL Statement or Stored Procedure radio button was selected in the Configure the Select Statement screen of the data source wizard.
- This screen in the wizard is not mandatory and the default settings can be used to move to the next screen in the wizard.
