K2 Server Console Mode Shortcut

K2 Server Console Mode Shortcut

Once K2 blackpearl has been installed the following shortcut will be available from the Start Menu. This new addition to the start menu will enable an Administrator to start the K2 Service in console mode and specify the password for the Account using the command line.

  • The K2 Service Account must be part of the Local Admin group otherwise errors will be thrown due to the account`s impersonation levels not being high enough. Also note that Running as a service does NOT require Local Admin.
  • This shortcut will not function if UAC is enabled as elevated rights are required.
