Repair a K2 Installation
To repair a K2 component, re-running the K2 Setup Manager and select repair. All the currently installed components on the server will be repaired.
Repairing any K2 installation will NOT preserve any custom files or changes to configuration. The Installer will reset and force the system back to a working state, as it would have been after doing a clean installation. If you want to make subtle configuration changes, like changing URLs, ports, users, SMTP Servers, you must choose the Configure option on the Maintenance panel when re-running the K2 Setup Manager.
After installing a Cumulative Update (CU) or Fix Pack (FP), any time you repair, reconfigure, or modify your installation, you must reinstall the same or latest CU and FP.
The repair process is essentially a re-installation of all of the previously installed components. Therefore, you should back up the K2 databases and additional configuration files if you made any changes, as no customizations will be kept.
Repairing a K2 blackpearl installation should be done only when absolutely necessary and only when components have been damaged by external circumstances.

All currently installed components on the server will be repaired.
