K2 blackpearl Client Tools
The installable K2 blackpearl Client Tools are tools used by users to build Workflows and SmartObjects, or to package and dpeloy K2 applications. The available designers that can be installed on workstations are K2 Studio and K2 for Visual Studio. K2 Package and Deployment is also available in the Client tools installation section.
The K2 blackpearl Client Tools can be installed as part of a Simple Install: Client Tools Only or as a Custom installation installation, where nothing but the K2 Client Tools are installed on a machine.

| K2 Package and Deployment |
K2 Package and Deployment provides the ability to package K2 artifacts, such as SmartObjects, Forms, Views and Workflows, from one environment (the source) into a package file stored locally or on a network drive. This package is then opened in another K2 environment (the target) where some or all of the artifacts in the package are deployed. See the K2 blackpearl Product Documentation: Package and Deployment for more information. You should preferably install and run the Package and Deployment tool on the K2 server, since this will have better performance when creating or deploying packages.
