What is a K2 application?

A K2 application, also known as a solution, is a packaged file or project that contains one or more of three possible objects:

A data definition - this is a K2 SmartObject
A workflow definition - this is a K2 Process
A forms definition - this is either created with K2 SmartForms or an integration with another forms technology such as ASP.NET

These three objects define a logical business application that is saved to the K2 Server and used by people throughout your organzation.
