Update Group Event
This wizard is found on the SharePoint 2013 - Group Events node.
What does this do?
The Update Group event allows you to update a group in SharePoint.
How is it used?
A workflow step can modify properties of a user group in SharePoint. For example, when the group title, description or permissions need to change, the Update Group wizard can be used to complete the changes.

Select the group reference or browse to a group.

If the group does not have a reference, the group can be browsed to using a SharePoint Site Collection. The Site Collection field is populated with the default site collection. Note that when using this option, filters are required to determine the correct group to use. See information on the next step. |
Choose a site collection from the available site collections that have the K2 for SharePoint app registered. If there is only one it is auto-selected. |

If Browse to group was selected on the Specify Group page of the wizard, set the filters to determine which user group should be updated.

On the Specify Values page of the event, specify the properties of the group that must be updated.

Permissions |
Select the required permission level.

Select the required checkbox. When the toggle button is used to specify permissions manually use a semi-colon to specify multiple permissions. Data fields can also be used to dynamically specify permissions and custom permission levels are supported and should be specified as Perm1;Perm2. The example below shows a combination of a manual, data field and custom permissions.
