What does the Word Documents Event Do?
The K2 blackpearl Word Document Event Wizard is used to create, update or convert Word documents.
Why use the Word Documents Event?
SharePoint provides Word Conversion Services for working with documents. The SharePoint Word Documents Event wizard allows for interaction with Word Conversion Services in a process. These wizards are compatible with both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010, but only work with Word (.docx) documents.

To make use of the Convert or Update functionality of the Word Document Event, the document needs to exist within SharePoint before using the Word Documents Event Wizard. It is equally important to note that the documents used during Design Time on the Development environment need to exist during Runtime in the Production environment for the workflow to work. |
