The Workflow Approval feature in the K2 Designer for SharePoint is a feature that allows a K2 Workflow to first be approved before being deployed to the K2 Server. The approvers also have the ability to edit the Workflow before approving and deploying the Workflow. The default approval Workflow that is followed with the Workflow Approval feature is shown below:
After designing a Workflow in the K2 Designer for SharePoint the Workflow illustrated above will start sending the designed Workflow to the specified approver. The approver can then either Approve, Decline or send the Workflow back to the workflow designer for rework.
The Browser User that is configuring the K2 Workflow Approval feature in Central Administration or on the Site Collection Settings requires K2 Admin rights.
