The K2 SmartActions e-mail draws on resources that are available from the Context Browser which are dynamic fields which contain pertinent information to the process. The fields enable the email template to be re used for each process instance.
The synonyms used by the end user are not surface in a way that is visible to the end user. |
The following items are readily available from the context browser and are added by selecting one and dragging it on the canvas.

Mandatory fields are fields required by the K2 Server to action the process instance. When not fond in the email, the K2 Server will throw an exception indicating that the email response from the respondent could not be understood and is not actionable.
If SmartActions is enabled, and the Custom notification email is selected then the serial number is added by default. It must remain in the email notification and must not be removed.
