Default Activity Wizard - Activity Escalation
The Escalation rule at activity level performs the same function as the Escalation rule at process level. The Escalation rule ensures that the Activity is actioned within a specified time or some other predefined action takes place to ensure that the Activity is actioned at some point.
The Escalation rule therefore is used to specify when the Action takes place and how the Action takes place.
