Signature

This form control is supported on Nintex Mobile in both online and offline modes.

The Signature form control allows users to add a signature into a form field.

Note: You can arrange up to two of this control on a single row in the form.

Section	Setting	Description
(unlabeled)	Title	Name of the Signature control, which becomes available for selection in the 'Then' clause of a rule.
	Customize	Switch toggle to Yes to enable customization of the variable Name of the form control.
	Name	(This field becomes configurable only when you switch the Customize toggle to Yes.) Customizes the name of the variable A placeholder that stores changes each time the workflow runs, such as the information entered in a form, or the name of a file. You can also create variables to store information you use in a workflow, such as an email address. for the field. If the name is not customized, the Title will be used as the variable name.
	Signature name	The text which displays below the signature control.
	Allow signing via keyboard	Switch the toggle to Yes to enable the Draw to sign or Type to sign options in the signature form field of the published form. When this toggled is switched to Yes: The Draw to sign and Type to Sign options are available to form users. Draw to sign: The form user can draw their signature using a mouse, stylus, or touch input. To use this option, form users can go to the Draw to sign tab and draw the signature inside the box. Type to sign: Users can type their name to generate a digital signature. To use this option, form users can go to the Type to sign tab and enter the name in the Type your signature field. When the toggle is switched to No: Form users can only draw their signature using a mouse, stylus, or touch input. The Type to sign option will not be available.
	Required	Mandates entry of a value before the form can be submitted.
	Custom required message	(Displays when you select Yes in Required) The text which displays below the field when a value is not entered into the field upon change form page or on form submit.
	Visible	Hides/ shows the Signature control on loaded form.
	Read-only	Displays the field on the published form but does not allow user input.
	Description	Helper text which displays below the field on the published form.
	Tooltip	The message which appears when users hover their cursor or touch the information icon beside the signature control in the form.
	Shrink	Reduces the width of the Signature control in a row of other form controls.
	Expand	Increases the width of the Signature control in a row of other form controls.
Styling	CSS class	Add a CSS class to apply a style to this form control. You can create the CSS class in the CSS code editor in form styles. Enter one class name or multiple class names separated by a space. For more information, see Add a custom CSS to individual controls. Note: The CSS Class field is available only if the Custom CSS setting is enabled in Nintex Workflow Government Edition Form settings.
	Border color	Border color to apply to the field. To select a color, click the color box and use the color picker to specify the color you want. You can click on the color map to select the color or enter the Hex code. To revert back to the global style, click Reset to global style.
