Tag a Word document
Use field tags A prefilled word block that DocGen selects for fields in your DocGen Package. - Open the Microsoft Word document you want to add field tags to.

Navigate to the App Launcher by selecting the in the upper left corner, and then select Nintex DocGen.

Open the DocGen Package you want to work with in DocGen Packages.
- Select the Field Tagger button in the top right corner.

A side pane displaying Field Tagger information appears on the right hand side of the screen. In the Field Tagger pane select Word/Powerpoint Tags.
Tip: You can search for a specific field tag by clicking the search icon and typing in the field name. As you type, the fields will filter based on the information you are typing. - There are two ways to add a field to a Microsoft Word document:
Click the Copy button next to the field, and then paste the field into the document.
Drag and drop a field. To drag a field to the document, left click the field and hold down the mouse button. Drag the field over to the Microsoft Word document and release the left mouse button.
Once a field has been added to the Microsoft Word document, it should look like the example screen shot below.
