Supported template file types

Nintex DocGen for Salesforce supports the template A document/file that can be added to a DocGen Package. Data can be filled into the document/file. file types listed in this topic.

Some file types support merging data from your org into templates using tags or PDF conversion, while other file types can only support PDF conversion.

Nintex DocGen for Salesforce supports using Adobe Acrobat to create template files for PDFs and Microsoft Office products to design templates for .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .ppt, and .pptx file formats.

You can upload these type of documents into your DocGen Packages for merging data from your org:
