Optionally include template files

You can set up a template file to be optional, so that when a user runs the DocGen Package, they can decide whether the output should include the template.

To include a template file as optional in a DocGen Package:

  1. Open or Create a DocGen Package.
  2. Select the Documents tab.
  3. Do one of the following to edit the DocGen Package:
    • Click Down arrow and select Edit.
    • Select Edit next to the field you want to edit in the package.
  4. Under Include Template, select Optionally.
  5. Enter an alternate End User label users will see when running the DocGen Package.
  6. Select the Available as Email Body for Delivery option if you want the file to be available as the email body when it is delivered.

  7. Click Save.

Users will see an option to include the template when running the DocGen Package.
