Custom fonts in templates
You can use custom fonts in your Nintex DocGen for Salesforce template by embedding them in your Microsoft document.
Add embedded fonts to your document
-
In your Microsoft document, click File > Options > Save.
-
Select the Embed fonts in the file option.
Font embedding compatibility
The following are the four levels of compatibility to consider while adding custom fonts to documents:
-
Fully embeddable: These fonts will embed in the document and install themselves on the target system if they do not already exist there. This is the best option to use in documents.
-
Editable Embedding: The document is editable in the embedded font, but the font will not permanently install on the target system.
-
Print and Preview Only: The document will print with the correct font on the target system, but the font is not editable and will not be installed on the target system. In order to use a font that is a Print and Preview Only, you will need to set the PDF option to Basic when setting the Delivery Option for your Document Package.
-
Not Embeddable: The font stays on the original system and cannot be embedded in a document. If a font is not embeddable, you can find a similar
font that can be embedded on Google fonts.
For more information on embedding fonts in a Microsoft document, see Embedding fonts in a document.
For the entire list of fonts supported in Nintex DocGen for Salesforce, see Supported fonts.
Note: Fonts supported by Nintex DocGen can work with custom fonts. However, Nintex DocGen cannot bypass any font restrictions that are set by the font designer.
