Switching between Salesforce Lightning and Classic

Nintex DocGen for Salesforce version 19.6 or later uses the Salesforce Lightning designer as the default. Users can switch to the Salesforce Classic interface in their Salesforce user profile. For organizations on version 19.6 or earlier, the Lightning designer can be enabled through Nintex Admin.

Switch to Salesforce Classic designer in the Salesforce user profile

If you have Nintex DocGen for Salesforce version 19.6 or later, you can switch to the Classic designer from your Salesforce user profile.

1. On the top right, click the user profile avatar.
2. Under OPTIONS, click Switch to Salesforce Classic.

Enable Salesforce Lightning designer in Nintex Admin

Users running Nintex DocGen for Salesforce versions 19.6 or earlier can enable the Lightning designer through Nintex Admin.

1. Select the Nintex Admin tab.
2. At the top of the Nintex Admin page, switch the Enable Lightning Designer toggle to Active.

Users can now access the Salesforce Lightning Designer.
